Topic of the Month: Long-Suffering

Many of us are experiencing tough times and going through really hard things right now. Let’s talk about the meaning of long-suffering.

Long suffering means accepting hardship, even though it’s unfair, patiently and calmly. We can do this with the strength of God!

We learn in the Word of God that long-suffering is a fruit of the spirit. Galatians 5:22-25 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

There is hope in long-suffering. Long suffering allows us to be patient in the present, trusting that God will turn our difficult circumstances into praise. When we get to the end of a difficult journey, we can flip the pages back and see how God has turned it into a testimony!

At Cline Support, we’re here to support you along the journey!
